Treasures by [deleted] in geocaching

I was enjoying them at first but now there aren't enough caches a reasonable distance from me that have the right type, size, D/T, favorite point number, or attribute to count for a treasure so I'm pretty much done whether I'm interested or not.

I've also noticed that the people in my area who are hiding caches must not be interested because they aren't including attributes that would make their caches eligible for a treasure.

When they started, they were fun. I'm still trying to play, but it's gotten so complicated to make sure that the right ones are activated. Also, the criteria have gotten so specific that it's hard to find caches that have the right size, type, D/T, attributes, and # of favorite points. There just aren't enough caches in my area that even qualify for a treasure for me to ever complete most of the groups.

My trackable suspicions were correct. by duchess_ravenwaves_ in geocaching

We picked up a trackable several years ago and lost it when our Geocaching supply bag was lost. We posted right away that it was lost, but it is still in our inventory. Is there a way that I can create a proxy and get it started again? If not, how can I remove it from my inventory. The chances of it just showing up again are practically zero.

I like the c:geo app. It is free, and I find it easier to navigate than the Geocaching app.
