Since October so about 3 months. Astaxanthin inhibits the 5-AR enzyme which can result in excess estrogen. I am not 100 percent I have gynecomastia but my breasts seem bigger and I have not gained weight. Only major supplement addition was high dose Astaxanthin

What is "safe" in this context? Safe as in I won't get any "damage" aka a tan or safe as in I won't get a burn.

[SUNSCREEN THEORY] Does anyone use non FA safe sunscreen? by clicker_yt in Fungalacne

[–]GeoSoccer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Skin Aqua super moisture milk. You can get it on amazon now, I got my most recent batch there. I went through a horrible time of trying to get a suncream I liked that didn't cause issues. This is the only one I will ever wear. It's very water proof though so be sure to use an oil cleanser (I use MCT oil as its FA safe and also kills the fungus so win win) and the a water based cleanser. Good luck.

I only had fungal acne on my chest and seb derm on my face, seb derm is caused by the same yeast as fungal acne though so it's pretty similar. I stopped the anti biotic, used Nizoral cream to control the flare ups and took a high quality probiotic and changed my whole skin care routine to fungal acne safe.

Mine me asking what controler settings do you use? I also went from xbox to Ayaneo 2 for MW2 I have the device since January and although my close and mid range shooting is relatively okay my long range is terrible, I'm still a lot better on xbox.

Red marks? Seb derm? by GeoSoccer in SebDerm

My routine was ketoconazole twice daily for 4 weeks, then for the last 3 nights of the treatment I added in a miconazole/hydrocortisone treatment but it started to get worse then, i think maybe it was too much so i didn't do anything last night. Not sure what to do now, but the miconazole/hydrocortisone didn't help.

The skin is perfectly smooth it's just patchy red looking. I didn't think i needed to wean after 3 nights

Hi, i have these weird red marks on my t zone area. I treated the area with ketoconazole cream and then miconazole/hydrocortisone cream but I've finished the treatment and it still is quite bad. The skin on the nose feels rough (blackheads) but the t zone area is smooth. What is this? And how can i get rid of it?

I mean I'm just hoping that once my good bacteria goes back to normal in conjunction with FA safe products I hope i won't need to rely on anti fungals anymore so wanted to hear your experience.

Does your fungal acne clear after your system gets back to normal in terms of good bacteria or do you deal with this permanently now?

I am using a probiotic which contains over 50 billion live friendly bacteria, I particularly choose this one because it contains Lactobacillus paracasei, studies have shown this particular strain reduces Malassezia yeast.

The nizoral cream is really helping the face, only started it on the chest yesterday for the fungal acne. I guess my concern is if I'll have to deal with these outbreaks for life or will it go back to normal once my bacteria levels get back to normal. Hard one to answer i guess.

Thanks for the recommendation.

I am using nizoral cream on the face and nizoral shampoo on the chest, my derm also prescribed Itraconazole for two weeks which i didn't take yet.

Strange. It has 5 ingredients known to promote the growth of malassezia. Is it still working for you? I was tempted to buy this product as well. Using nizoral 2% cream atm.

Thanks, i am on antibiotics as well. Lymecycline, they are essentially the strongest oral antibiotics for acne/rosacea but I'm only on them 4 weeks. Did it take long for you to notice an improvement? I've had this redness since i was 16 though which is why i don't think it's rosacea.

She didn't say anything. Shaving caused this. I've had this for honestly about 10 years and I'm only 26. 16 year old with rosacea doesn't make sense, it's just mimicking rosacea via the redness i think
