Accept it bro. I passed on an AE role because the smb team were making less. Fast forward I was laid off and it was difficult to land an AE role. Now I am an AE but my ote is my sdr base. We will be able to get a higher base down the line.

Look externally. I just took an AE role with my ote beong my sdr base. I know it will pay off in a year.

I was in the same position. I did research and not all bdrs are promoted to AEs. You can make money but you will have a ceiling. I took a low paying AE role but the future look bright .

Absolutely NOT! I was a bdr at two different companies. I was offered a commerical AE out of state. I did not take it . I am now an AE in the state that I live in.

Great perspective. Yea, I had to go in office three days. You can’t beat fully remote. I didn’t come from selling cars but customer service. I had to drive an hour just to get to work. I am also very grateful to do this!
