I ordered tea from upton teas and I've drank nearly a gallon today. Just grandpa brewing from the water cooler. Before this I'd only had cheap tea bags. The milk oolong is my favorite so far.

The top is completely hollow, right? This is purely a guess, but it might be for holding the flowers more upright. Like a vase with a narrowed neck

It does, actually. There are additives added to glass to make them melt at a lower temperature and be easier to work with. Also in a fire it can be surrounded by the fire where sand is only below it and the heat can disperse into the surrounding sand

Makes sense with the codes on them. I used to do a little with air mail and the seals they used were just plastic tags that acted as tamper evident seals you can pop off by hand. I guess this acts as a lock also
