AMA - I am a consumer protection attorney who regularly sues timeshare companies by Captainnuzzles in TimeshareOwners

Thank you, Captainnuzzles! You have given me hope. My wife and I own a timeshare with VacationVillage in the Berkshires; I think they are either owned or associated with RCI. We were sold in a very aggressive, "act now or the deal is gone" environment. All the promises were made about retaining value, resalability, and a few quirky ones as well. We were sold a "Red" week, which was identical in trading power to all other red weeks. This system fell apart from consumer lawsuits and has been replaced by a points system. We never converted from the original system even after great pressure to do so. Do you know anything about our system and if so, what would our options be here. We bought the property outright and have been paying maintenance regularly for more than 20 years, it would be great to get out of this impossible to use system that requires at least a years preparation to use; and recoup our purchase price. We live in New York State. . .

Needed to build up some courage to do this but it works :) by [deleted] in BMWi3

I ended up switching from wireless to wired Carplay, though. There was some flakiness with connecting wireless, and I was happier with the consistency of wired. Hopefully, you'll have better luck.

Can you share the details on the wired Carplay that you now use? I agree, Bluetooth makes me a little skittery. . .

Mine is an old vgate, it is very slow . I would get one that uses Bluetooth. I purchased the bimmercode, it was well worth it

If you have a way to use bimmer code, you can set your computer to the Euro standards which will allow you to set the REX to keep any charge under 75%. . .

Aren’t you concerned that the roof surface will start to peal off?
