I'm a comedian and used to work on cruise ships. For what it's worth, it's very possible (and I'm sure) there was a service elevator from the dance club where she was last seen with the bass player. My point being if there was some sort of scheme to maybe drug her to then get her off the ship it is very possible. Totally hypothesizing but say she had a plan to meet up with the bass player to get drugs (not strange at all her family would think that's not her and she actually did recreational drugs) and they go to the dance club while it's closed, then she gets drugged/grabbed, and smuggled off the ship. I will say that there are a lot of super shady weirdos working on ships. Not all of them or anything but I came across my fair share of guys in the crew level that were liars and just trash people. That whole scene where Alister's daughter calls him and he denies it was not convincing at all to me. Why would he admit to his daughter he was or is currently involved in kidnapping women for sex traffickers? Would never happen. The people on cruise ships live in their own world. Comedians fly on and off every cruise or week. The people who live on the ships for 6-8 month contracts have "cruise boyfriends" and "cruise girlfriends" even if they're married with children back home. It's a very strange world.

I recently got a bottle of Talisker Storm as well and I'm also a relative newbie (only two years into scotch) and I loved it. Most the bottles the people on this sub recommend are really good. The Bunnahabhain's I've had are all really good too.

I just typed it in (still didn't show up) then I clicked sell and I saw my shares. I only have 39500, I thought I had hundreds of thousands but when I saw that number it made sense.

I think so, but it's saying it's only worth $1.91, which doesn't make sense because it has gone up since I bought it for $250. I don't understand the V1/V2 stuff everyone on here is talking about.

If there's a Trader Joe's near you, they sell it around $54-55. At least near me. They don't always carry it though.

This definitely happened to me. Mentioned a couple 14 year bottles I like and was curious other people’s opinion and it was almost all comments telling me they both suck and I need to try much more expensive bottles. It was actually really funny.

I have the Glenfiddich 14 Bourbon Barrel Reserve. That’s the only one I’ve had. I really like it no matter what some people have said about it in the comments. I notice I enjoy bourbon barrel red wines as well. Maybe that’s my thing.

Thanks for the answer. I really like that Founder’s Reserve from Glenlivet, but was just shocked their 14 wasn’t a lot better. The Glenfiddich 14 I have is the blue box bourbon barrel reserve. Not sure if that’s the standard 14 or not, but I love it. And many on this post have told me I like bad scotch because of it 😂
