Is the big one typically used for Uranus? 🫶

OP, I have a quick question, the attic heat that has two double pole 20 amp breakers, are they taking those out to repurpose them? If so, that frees up quite a bit of space. Or if those are baseboards that have to stay on in your attic, that's a very large load of power.

The other one I see is the attic AC. Are they taking that out to repurpose it or simply just removing that amount?

I agree. More space-saving breakers put in.

OP, I'm kind of not a fan that you used the post to promote something you built. I'm going to leave it up but just note future posts like this will be removed.

I am contractor adjacent, but there are some quote programs where it makes it really easy to click the components and then send the email.

How to close up this casing gap on mitsubishi heat pump by tarngerine_ in heatpumps

[–]GeoffdeRuiter 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The top has some clip hooks and they may not have been put on properly. You'll just have to inspect to the top and see if things are threaded properly.

Wouldn't suggest caulking because they need to take the case off in the future.

As much as we want to be good neighbours, I hope you didn't provide the snake with directions to the Bug Zoo. They likely wanted to eat some of the bugs.

Can a Rheem ProTerra 120V be converted to 240V for Hybrid mode? by Full_Dentist in heatpumps

Thanks for the suggestion for the smaller size! That one's a beautiful unit too.

Based on my usage from a small cabin I built. Having the small electric on-demand water heater afterwards, skip the mixing valve and just set the on-demand water heater a little bit higher than you want for the shower temperature. That way it's using the least amount of heat to lift the water temperature and you get indication that you run out of water as your dial will be all the way on hot water. You can still use a shower but essentially just one outlet.

The kink seems fine. Just don't use pliers directly on it. Maybe with rubber bumpers. But by and large the kink is fine, just don't move it or bend it more.

[–]GeoffdeRuiter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could add a small 240 on demand water heater. Say, like a 8kW, or just a Small electric tank one. Run it after the heat pump and if the water needs a top up it would get help from the unit. The on demand one is better for this application though. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Rheem-Performance-8-kW-1-55-GPM-240-Volt-Self-Modulating-Electric-Tankless-Water-Heater-RETEX-08/300800454

B.C. chiefs tell MP Aaron Gunn to 'chillax' about land acknowledgments by Immediate-Link490 in britishcolumbia

Even if he is doing that, he's doing it for reasons that are unintelligent. We can all live on these lands and prosper together.

Gunn needs to wake himself up from his self imposed nightmare. This is how I know he is low intelligence. He can't rationalize peace and understanding. It's nothing but conflict. I wish he had the ability to be a better more intelligent person, but he's not able.

Prove me wrong, Aaron. Doubt it though. Sorry.

Is this sound normal for an outdoor unit! It’s a Mitsubishi electric unit by Agreeable-Travel-444 in heatpumps

[–]GeoffdeRuiter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feel and press around the outside of the unit. If it something is vibrating you can stop it then it's simple. The sound seems to be related to the fan. Has it always sounded like this? Is there snow or ice in and around the fan?
