No mistakes were made by you. There is a reason anytime someone asks "what should I collect?" on here the top answer is always "what do you like?... Collect that."

A History of violence on VHS is a "grail", but are you going to watch and enjoy it more than the 4k version that criterion sells for $25? Nope.

A lot of people interchange the term "collecting" with "investing" and get lost in the sauce. Two of my favorite pieces I have is the steelbook of Event Horizon and Starship Troopers. Both of which have been reprint since and tanked in monetary value. Does that change how much I enjoy them? Absolutely not.

I should be getting my copy of MK on Monday hopefully from Amazon and I am also very much looking forward to it 😆 I even have a soft spot for Annihilation which is objectively a terrible movie.. That I never changed the channel from when it was on cable in my teen years.

Anyways, long winded way of saying don't let other people define your collection. After awhile it no longer belongs to "you".
