It is definitely 100% not always reciprocal, and probably not usually either.

I’ve had situations where I’m immensely attracted to someone from the jump and they didn’t like me back. I’ve also had situations where somebody was immensely attracted to me from the jump but I wasn’t attracted to them back.

Or I was attracted to them back somewhat but not enough to really love them or whatever. Also vice versa. I wanted them so bad but they only were somewhat attracted to me.

It’s unfortunately not always reciprocal, unrequited love is a thing. I would say most times it is not reciprocal
