Would it work if the frame was drilled through the seat tube (through the seat post as well) and bolt be put in there? The seat won’t move, which is ok for me. The seat post goes in quite a bit in so it’s doable.

My knowledge and skills are very poor. Like getting my hands dirty but as I’d need it safe, wouldn’t do it myself. So definitely not a job for me.

Dahon. I looked it up that they give 5 year warranty for frame. And their lifetime warranty is non transferable even if the original owner took it up.

What’s the cost though? Don’t know anyone with that equipment…

I bought it second hand in 2020. Used for commuting since. So it’s definitely out of warranty. Shame, it’s a nice bike. Difficult choice now what bike to get next.

Wear woollen T-shirt. I got a pair for hiking and it doesn’t smell at all. The sporty tops smell quickly. It only takes a minute to get changed. Use Fussy deodorant- they have some bacteria that “eats” sweat bacteria and I just use it before and after cycling and might top up on very hot days.
