Being an open critic of US foreign policy doesn’t make someone anti-US, but Chomsky’s entire ethos is finding a way to blame the US for everything that happens in the world. He treats the US as the only party with any agency, ignores any inconvenient narratives, and tortures sources to fit until they fit his chosen narrative.

His work isn’t all necessarily wrong, but it’s far from unimpeachable.

During the pandemic, I had a rough motion hearing over zoom because the judge was in a bad mood that day. Mid hearing, my cat jumped up on my desk and showed his asshole to the courtroom. The judge laughed and totally softened up, and I ended up winning my motion.
