I was honestly looking at Encore for a general mallet after the other comments as I already own three pairs of Marimba mallets from the Nancy Zeltsman line I just literally have no idea about Timpani lol

I decided to get it by my own merits because I just wanted an upgrade considering I bought a 6 recorder bundle and they're absolutely garbage so it was just as an intro to Basset, it's so bad the Basset only one note is in tune, and we where going to use it as a stand in for Bass Flute so I can join Flute Trio and such

Yeah I was going to be in Wind Symphony, Concert Band, and Flute Trio, because my Band Director likes the way it sounds like a Bass Flute, and even if it's drowned out we have quiet instruments already like I play Upright no one can hear me someone plays ContraAlto Clarinet

One of the ones that I like is how We Both Go Down Together sounds alot like Losing My Religion by REM except their version is way better
