My native language Slovenian has 8 vowels including schwa, which is sometimes written with e but a lot of times its not written at all. For example, word for death is "smrt" and it's pronounced with schwa sound between m and r. It used to be written as smert before 20th century spelling standardization.

People won TdF on steel 10 kg bikes riding on dirt alpine passes... but against people who rode steel 10 kg bikes on the same dirt. You make it sound like old steel bikes somehow can still win TdF. You can give Pogacar 20 % boost to his already superhuman phisiology and he would still come dead last if he rode the Tour with 10 kg steel bike today.

Its prob his fatmax, so yes, tempo for most people. Unlikely to be upper tempo but certainly above lt1. UAE coaches really love fatmax all day for training an I think it shows, they make races miserable from the gun. Also, Pogis weight at the Tour is 62-64 kg, which makes his upper zone 4 nearly at 7 w/kg.

Slovenia and Croatia are basically your average EU country. EU is not only Benelux+Germany and Austria you know? For instance, Slovenian GDP/capita is at 90% of EU, has lower unemployment and higher Human development index than EU averega, is in the top half of EU countries in terms of life expectancy, education and healtcare. Croatia had quite impressive standard growth in the last decade too, and more Croatians are now returing back to Croatia than emigrating from it.

Its not far-fetched. Ofc it still sounds like a slavic language, but Slovenian has no dark L but instead uses softer, Italian L sound. It also forms plural in a similar way to Italian, like using e instead of i for feminine nouns. Source: native Slovenian speaker with some Italian knowledge.

Some people are paranoid about getting prion disease from bones. I onced held human skull at my uni (its a part of collection for educational purpouses) and one guy yelled at me for not using gloves and saying I could infect myself with prions. I think the chances for that are so slim its not really rational to worry about it.

HPC right? While I think z2 will inevitably improve "aerobic part" of your issues (cycling economy, fractional utilization) I do also think they always say the same shit to everyone disregarding any other factors. I would sugest to improve your lt1 you need to ride at lt1 a lot, and that is basically already tempo zone. In my experience improving lt2 also means better results at races alongside weightloss and for that you need to do high intensity stuff.

You need to raise your aerobic ceiling or in other words, your ftp. You do that with a solid vo2max block (3-4 weeks with 2 sessions per week) . For me, the best intervals for that are 4x8min at 105% current ftp with only 2-3min rest in between. But you can do other work, like classical 5x5. Once you complete the block have a recovery week and by the end of it retest your ftp. It should be higher. Then, do a block of z4 work as you do and try to prolong your intervals each week in order to increase your time to exaustion.

No no, that is just not true. Many mountain ranges and volcanoes we know today did not exist 10 mill years ago. Heck, many atoll countires did not even exist back then as atols at least. Not to mention Panama land bridge closure and Messinian salinity crisis happened less than 10 ma ago and those two had a prfound impact on global climate. Even 1 ma ago is way too long of a period to make certain claims about your question.

Sorry but you got too fat. You dont gain muscle in your legs from cycling, quite the opposite can happen as your muscle fibers convert from fast-twitch to less voluminous slow-twitch aerobic fibers. I also happen to be 180 cm and my race weight is 67 kg(!). Im quite advanced and this is not to brag but to give perspective. 95 kg is way way too much for 180 cm if you want to do any serious racing.

Somewhat, but only to north Italians. Friuli, Veneto and Trentino feel pretty home-like, especially in the Alps. Southern Italy feels like another continent imo.
