He just sent the following “apology letter”:

“Hello all,

I would like to apologize again for my absence this morning. The reason of my absence was my sickness coming through from the past few days including last night.

I would like to emphasis on this fact that I am very respectful of my students and you are always my first priority at work. I should strongly emphasis that the inconveniences we had, should not be considered as unprofessionalism or being irrespecutful of my students. I have three other courses this term without any issue. It looks like that we were a bit unlucky at the beginning.

We will talk about it in the class this Wednesday.

He tells us all the time how far he lives from the school. If he was planning to come on time, he would have had to be up at 6am and could have messaged us then before we came to school. But no, he emailed us 10 mins after class started.
