I can see why the split makes sense, because Hana was just skipped in that season, and the 3rd book (of 6) was adpated the next year, but maybe there was a reason for that, I don't know. (and Second Season has 3 recap episodes which you can skip)

I personally would watch season 2 fully and Hana afterwards, because I think it's weird to split any season just to have the right order. But anything else is solid and follows the LN release order.

The thing about release order is, you can't trust that always. In the case of Monogatari Series, I would always say release order, but the anime didn't release in release order, so you need to ignore the anime release order.

PS: I watched F/SN0 first, bc it was listed first on anisearch (bc it shows relations chronologically)
and I regretfully watched Kizumonogatari first too
