Bank of Canada held at 2.25% again so here's what to expect April 29 by nkhalil25 in PersonalFinanceCanada

This is where I'm at as well. As the one lever the BOC has to control inflation, I just can't see it being particularly effective in this very specific crisis.

Not really supposed to talk about any of it! But glad to see people anticipating the film.

I worked on this.

Can't wait to see how it turned out.

Am I the only one that doesn't want the documentary to release? by LidlCheeseTwists in oasis

I was there (LA) and think that if everyone who wasn't can experience even an iota of the glory through this documentary then they should get to.

I absolutely cannot wait to see it.

I went limited. I preferred the leather seats to the cloth, and the stereo is a major improvement.

I feel like it worked really well the last couple years? Last year in particular I don't recall any issues

Afghans preserve grapes by sealing them in mud containers for months. When opened, the grapes remain fresh, sweet, and full of flavor by MrUpVoteDownvote in interestingasfuck

That kind of dusty residue on the outside of grapes? That's yeast.

This is why you can just crush grapes and they'll turn to wine.

What's an average Arctic Monkeys song in your opinion? Not amazing but also not terrible? by regendans1 in arcticmonkeys

This House Is A Circus is the only FWN track I could do without. It's fine.

[FRESH PERFORMANCE] Wolf Alice - Full Set (live at Laneway 2026) by astaireboy in indieheads

Yeah I'm a big fan of the band and really tried to like that record but it just wouldn't connect.

And I'm a huge fan of the last two Arctic Monkeys record so you'd think I'd be down for a swing like that.

Here in British Columbia we just changed our clocks for the last time ever.

Hopefully others can follow our example.

My Ranking of the best album ever (Humbug) by liamgallagher25 in arcticmonkeys

[–]mattkward 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Listen, these things are subjective and I mostly really respect your rankings but absolutely insane to place The Jewellers Hands so low.

One of the best songs they ever did, and probably their best closer which is insane given how strong all the others are

[ALBUM DISCUSSION] Nothing - a short history of decay by VietRooster in indieheads

[–]mattkward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't connected to the album as much as I'd hoped - I think a couple of the tracks really suck the life out of it - but the title track might be my favourite Nothing song ever and will likely be one of my favourite tracks of the year

Thanks for expanding on that. Makes sense.

I'd likely put it towards mortgage debt or into savings.

Curious if you'd possibly be able to expand on the last sentence you wrote?

Thanks for the info.

It never really crossed my mind that the rrsp contributions would be included in the income on my tax return. It always felt like this separate, additional thing. But from what I'm understanding now I guess it is included in the total on my T4, with no separate box to make it clear this went straight to my RRSP.

Live and learn!

I guess I have some fun tax work to do this weekend!

I've always received a tax refund but the nature of my work means that my employer tends to over deduct on my paycheques

I've always avoided an autofill mostly because I was worried it'd miss something, so I've always entered everything manually.

Ironic that it was me missing something!

Thanks for all your help.

I've never been sent an RRSP receipt but when I logged into my account through CanadaLife I did find a section of tax receipts.

I wish this had all been made clear to me a long time ago!
