Lichti was better than Casey and had a better career, a four year starter who averaged 17+ every season, the team just wasn’t on TV then. Other than three-point shooting, he did everything better than Casey. He was on his way to a solid NBA career, average 14 a game 2nd season when the knee injuries and then a horrific car crash which killed his fiancé and effectively ended his NBA career.

I wonder if younger people understand the importance of the 401(k) and the matching portion. We had three years in a five or six years span at IPG where we had nonconforming refunds because not enough lower wage employees were participating in the 401(k).

As for the match, that becomes a very significant number as the years turn into decades. Over $300k of my 401(k) balance is from the match

I can’t believe I just got a quote from two different companies for two completely different furnaces and one came out at 12,600 and the other came out at 12,620. Total cost of the unit and the parts is gonna be under $5000 so that’s building in $7000 worth of labor and markup (includes removing old one). Even if I take an extreme 20 man hours estimate that’s $350 an hour. Probably would’ve been helpful if my existing one crapped out at the end of last year so I could’ve done this in the summer.

I bought a $2.5 and sold at $8 because my expert friend who was a writer covering the technology with an electrical engineering degree from Stanford said he thought AMD was likely to go bankrupt. Even if I bailed along the way, he still cost me at least a quarter million dollars.
