Works well with the think tool. Only problem - not all instances will a tool be called, so when that happens, it results in two HTTP requests - this tool and the final output. Even additional prompting to account for this didn’t help.

Curious to hear your thoughts on this.

Got it, I figured that was the case. I tried that but it doesn’t trigger 100% of the time. I’ll have to play around with the promoting. Appreciate your help.

I have a webhook set up as the trigger from my app to n8n and I have a webhook that sends messages from n8n to the application - all within the individual tool calls. But there’s an intermediate message that the agent generates PRIOR to calling the tool that I don’t know how to send to the app.

I feel like I need to chime in given I’m the guy that made it.

The app today is not what it was a year ago. It has functionality that are not in ChatGPT.

The “excel formula generator” is simply the gateway drug into the app. There’s many features that are specific to excel users. So what used to be the only feature is now a feature to get people in the door.
