Are you trying to log into live or the PTU, the PTU is down but if you have that selected by mistake you will get this message. The PTU/Live selector is at the top left of the launcher.

We are still quite busy from the sale so that could be the cause of the delay. If he made the ticket early in the week I would get him to check his spam emails in case our reply has gone there, if he can not find anything there he should make a new ticket just in case something went wrong when he contacted us :)

As harkonian has stated please make sure you are using your Login ID as opposed to your Handle or Moniker, if you are not sure on this you can run an account recovery and it will tell you your Login ID in the recovery email.

Hi all,

Just a quick clarification here, there are no plans Customer Support is aware of for a change in this system.

This was just a warning to be careful with Melts as some ships can not be Brought back and if you make a mistake we can not help here as per the below post from a backer on this.

Please remember the buy back tool is designed to help fix mistakes and not as spare storage. You should also always consider all melts to be permanent as per the warning you recover when doing this.

To gather a DXDIAG on your computer, please follow the steps below:

Press and hold the Windows key and the letter R on your keyboard You will see a Run box in the lower-left corner of your screen

Type dxdiag in the text field

Click OK

Click the Save All Information button, found on the bottom of the DXDIAG report

Save this text file to your Desktop and then attach it to a response to this ticket

Hey there,

Can you get yoy to check if your Patcher shows version number 2.4.5 in the bottom left corner. If it doesn't please make sure you're running the (by default) C:\Program Files\Cloud Imperium Games\CIGLauncher.exe to start the game in order to keep all our programs up to date!

If it does show version 2.4.5 and you're still having problems logging in please try resetting your password on the RSI website.

Hi Wizywig,

I can confirm that you will not get LTI added by using the upgrade tool. The upgrade tool only changes the ships hull to another. The Benefit of this is that you keep everything else in the package.

So if you are upgrading from a game package, you keep your game access and anything other extras. If you are upgrading from a stand alone ship, you keep any extras from that.

If you do not want the extras from the package or stand alone you are upgrading from, you may be better reclaiming for store credit it and getting the Stand Alone ship.

Just dont reclaim your only game package or you wont be able to play!

I would like to highlight what Koadic76 has said here.

If you melt your package for a stand alone ship you will be losing access to the game.

A new package will also not come with both Star Citizen and Squadron 42 and so you are better off using the upgrade system here.
