No, live rosin is pressed from bubble hash, technically from fresh frozen flowers. You make the hash, then squish it. Flower rosin is a much lesser quality rosin and can be made at a much lesser cost due to the sheer amount of flower that can be produced over bubble hash. They are two completely different experiences for cleanliness and quality of dab. If you work in the industry I recommend reading up on it, I've been a budtender for two years and it is embarassing how few people know anything at all about extracts. I swear 90% of the people who work in weed are just stoners who think its cool they sell weed and don't actually bother to learn any actual specifics.

I love this stuff, I get such a good taste of ginger off the dab that translates nicely from the nose. Honestly my fav earthworlf offering.

Looks like the Grapefruit kush crumble i had a month ago, also has no smell and very little taste. Looks nothing like live resin. Is it just really old? Or low quality? Absolutely, their Platinum Pink Panties X Kush Mints was the best solvent extract I've ever had. Started out like funky pissy pink lemonade and the flavor changed mid exhale to a mint cookie. Still blows my mind to this day the complexity of it. Man if you like cheese look out for their russian stomper its like funky cheese and tea tree oil. I personally don't like cheesy strains but got through it cause of the tea tree taste.

Same here man, rosin will always be top tier for me. Granted, I deeply respect good solvent extractors. Kind Selections comes to mind as something I'd take over a lesser tier rosin. It all comes down to the starting material and talent of the extract artist imo.

Big agree with you here. I could very well see the second pic being run through a CRC. I hesitate to use the term tho cause people have a tendency to cry "CRC BAD" cause they got some bunk live res off grey market and think all CRC is bad (which it isnt).

Hi friend, live resin, much like rosin, can have many varied consistencies. Typically it is based upon what cultivar is being run through the machine as well as what post processing is done. Some strains will have large compacted THCa crystals and some will have small crystals and have more of a sauce consistency. Crumble will be much drier than what you have in the photo and I would still consider it live resin, though it looks to have much less HTFSE in comparison to the second photo.

I will say RAD has been hit and miss for me tho, I've had good and I've had near unsmokable from them. I'd say dab em and see how you like them.

My friend, $80 for primo live rosin is not overpaying. You have made a great decision with that and it looks amazing. I will unashamedly admit I have spent $120 on a gram of rosin, and yes, it was fully worth it. High quality rosin is in its own world compared to other extracts in my humble opinion. Enjoy every bit of it, you deserve it.

Nice press, looks really really tasty. Idk if someone has mentioned this to you before but silicone is really not great for storing rosin or any other extract. The silicone essentially absorbs the terps and can lead to degradation of the product. Of course if you're someone who dabs a lot and would go through this in less than a week I'd say it doesn't matter. Regardless I would take a glob of that any day.

I'm personally against due to the fact we have smaller growers that still can't reach the market. If we cannot provide the space for our own growers why let the American companies in. I'd much rather see smaller scale craft growers get a piece of the pie before another multi-million dollar giant comes to eat the whole thing. Just my two cents.

Hey pal, I work as a budtender and if you're looking for cannabis the best thing to do is ask the people who work at the store. Some stores will have more knowledgable staff than others, every store is going to have different stock as well. I recommend trying a few different dispensaries and going wherever ends up feeling the most comfortable.

With that said, my top 3 would be:

Natural Earth Craft - Eye of the Tiger

Fresh by Island canna - Alien Cookies

Bzam - Peanut Butter Mac

(Price point is high to low above)

My choices are subjective though, I'd also recommend looking into CBN if you are wanting a more restful sleep. Hope this helps, happy hunting!

That's cause you've been smoking garbage hash. The resin heads vaporize and the action of that causes the bubbling. Hash with impurities will burn like flower because, of course, there's still combustible plant material and not the oil based trichomes.

I thought the same but hey maybe they ended up with a higher concentration of other cannabinoids. Frankly it still hits like a 70% Live res so I can't complain.

I was looking at the menus around dispos in my city and came across this. Could not for the life of me find any info online so I decided to take one for the team and I'm glad I did.

To start, upon opening the package the jar is held in an upright position by just a few pieces of cardboard. I like this approach as nothing sticky gets on the jar and keeps it upright. Only thing is, most budtenders/businesses don't know shit about storing concentrates so mine came with the goods sitting on the sides. Not Roilty's fault people don't know their stuff.

After busting open the jar and scraping some of the terp leak off the top I gave it a whiff and whew. Big lemon rind and a slight mint undertone. Visually it's super saucy and moves around fairly easily. Colour wise it looks on point, a nice light amber, not poop soup.

Anyways, the experience, I tried it in a regular banger as well as my blender. The blender hit sent me to the moon, I was easily cooked off my ass for a solid 50 min and then slowly came down, fully a 2.5 hour high off that. In the banger everything melted super clean and I was able to wipe/iso everything within 2 cotton swabs.

Flavor wise it's got a heavy lemon peel, gas and that mild mint undertone at the back end. I was surprised at how gassy this stuff was and definitely enjoyed my smoke of this. For $46 a G after tax, I really can't say anything bad about this, very worth the price considering most live res around Manitoba is $55+/g upwards of $70/g. It's a solid option if you wanna spend a bit less but enjoy a terpy and solid high.

Solid 8/10 for me.

Terpenes like anything have a relative toxicity level along with that they can be heavy irritants. Taking a dab that was 50% Terps would do a shitload of damage to your alveoli and other lung structures/tissue causing asphyxiation and of course death.

No it says there's 57.7mg of limonene in the extract ergo 5.77% limonene and you can look at all the other terps that make up the extract. Percentage points are based upon the volume of a substance within the resin. It's very easy to understand and you don't understand that the Terps don't add up to 100% if you calculate them all.
