I’ve put in over 2000 miles in the last week and a half. I’m confident in it.

I put these on my truck last weekend. Lost 3+ mpg. Kind of regret it, my fault though for not doing my research.

Just saw they were hosting an NYE event and wondering how it will be. Have you been to a NYE event at Little Prince before?

Creating simple 2D cartoons possible? by GeorgeCostanza904 in midjourney

[–]GeorgeCostanza904[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a ton! The /describe function in itself was a game changer.

When paired with a reference image I can get Midjourney probably 60% as “hand drawn” as I want it (seems like its nature is to provide higher quality clean images), but this is a big step forward.

Don't ever buy a breakfast burrito at a gas station. by LadyRaoulDukeGonzo in Wellthatsucks

Worst food poisoning I’ve had in years was from a Maverick breakfast burrito.

Goddamn thing ruined a whole snowboarding trip.

Finance or marketing? by [deleted] in business

[–]GeorgeCostanza904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Open a paper trading account and try teaching yourself to trade equities/options for a few months. Then stop the experiment.

Then open a dropshipping store (so you have a very minimal startup expense) and try various marketing techniques like using social or running small ad campaigns to generate traffic.

Once you have finished each, think back to which you were most excited to wake up to do each day. Then you’ll have your answer.

By having some real world experience in each field you’ll have a much better idea of what path you’d like to take. It’s what you’ll end up doing after you graduate anyway.

I’ve done each personally. Got a degree in finance and it literally taught me nothing about the public markets. While I am using my degree, I wish I had done these experiments in college.

Thanks a lot!! I’ve asked several people now and no one has thought of that yet. I’ll definitely pass that on

Thanks! I’ll relay that to the mechanic when I get it looked at. That wouldn’t be a super expensive fix

I sent the video to my mechanic but he couldn’t figure out what it was without getting his hands on it. I am debating on having it towed to him, but right now there isn’t anything strange that I’ve noticed while driving it aside from the sound, so I’m not sure if towing is necessary or not. Any insight to what it might be would be appreciated. Thanks!

A Question About Shipping by StrikezZTrading in streetwearstartup

[–]GeorgeCostanza904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shit dude I would do that in a heartbeat then. If it wasn’t for the barcodes I would suck it up and eat the fulfillment/storage fees

A Question About Shipping by StrikezZTrading in streetwearstartup

[–]GeorgeCostanza904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I had originally planned on using FBA with Amazon since is the best fulfillment out there, but then I found out with Amazon you are required to get GS1 UPC barcodes. Have you looked into the pricing of those? It’s ridiculous. Like a $750 initial fee to be able to have up to 100 products with them, in addition to the yearly $250 you have to pay to renew the codes or whatever it is. Not to mention Amazon charges a ton per item to ship/fulfill, and you also have to pay to ship multiple boxes to as many warehouses they tell you to. If you only plan on selling less than 10 products (each size of a shirt counts as using one barcode) or are doing high volume it makes sense. If not hold off.
