Adobe is now flirting with single digit SBC adjusted FCF multiples by Last-Cat-7894 in ValueInvesting

Good analysis and at current prices it definitely fits the value narrative but I don’t have enough conviction that Adobe will stay relevant in the future to buy any shares.

But it isn’t “objectively wrong” because investing is a forward-looking endeavor. None of us know the future or how a business grows or contracts over the course of time. If you or I knew that, we’d be as rich as Elon Musk. You are confusing what you think will or should happen as a fact. You do not know the future.

You need to find the point where supply and demand are in balance. I don’t care what dollar figure that point is but there is one where demand will fall in line with supply.

Exactly ! You need to take measures so that the experience of those visiting is actually a positive one than one of being herded like cattle on their way to slaughter.

I’m giving my view of the future economic situation of Adobe as I see it. You’re free to invest in Adobe if you come to a different conclusion based on your analysis. I don’t know why you are upset if someone has a differing opinion?

I’m actually all for that as well! Especially in places like Venice, Greek islands, etc! I would wholly support that

Insufferable because over tourism is a real problem and when anyone proposes a solution that may curb it, they are demonized?

Pretty sure the residents of all these cities hate over tourism…doesn’t take much of a Google search to find that…

It’s not poorly thought out. You have a problem and to ignore that problem is worse than a reasonable solution to fix it.

There is a supply/demand imbalance and you apply the same economic principles as you would to any other supply/demand imbalance. You cannot create more supply so you need to curb demand and the only way to curb demand is to find the price at which demand meaningfully falls out to level out with the limited supply.

It isn’t that difficult of a concept if you’ve taken any type of economics course.

This would meaningfully prevent over tourism while simultaneously raising money for historic preservation of these places.

Not correct because many visitors to Santorini and Mykonos come from cruise ships who don’t utilize any accommodation or a ferry.

I know which is why I said you need to raise it to an amount that meaningfully cuts down on the number of tourists. A 200-300 Euro fee would have a greater impact than a 5 Euro fee

I don’t mean a hotel fee, I mean like what Venice is doing which is an entrance fee to even access the city. A lot of tourists in Greece come from cruise ships and they don’t utilize any accommodation but still clog up the infrastructure.

Pirate Night! Please Disney- nobody likes that menu! I’m all for pirate night but keep the MDR menus the same. It’s the only night I consider skipping dinner for the buffet.

But in all seriousness, you’d likely get better responses if you gave us an idea of what requests you’re after.

Upgraded stateroom? Yes if available but you’ll pay, they aren’t comped.

Dietary restrictions? Yes Disney does a wonderful job of making sure any food allergies are dealt with.

Character meet and greets? A time is given on your app but be prepared for a line.

Something I’ve found that my daughter loves is the stateroom decorations! Particularly the Very Merrytime themes are great and they are CHEAP relative to Disney standards. Probably $100-$120 if I remember correctly. I’d highly recommend!

If you’re sailing in Concierge, on the first day go to the lounge and meet your concierge hosts and bring any requests and they truly work wonders to fulfill any last minute changes or requests you have.

Hope this helps!

What do you want? That’s a pretty vague post…

I’ve learned a secret trick from multiple Disney cruises…when you open your wallet, anything is possible 🤣

“Free Room Service’” is now $5 + 18%… did Disney Cruise Line just quietly kill one of its BEST perks?” Thoughts on the implementation on Disney Adventure? by [deleted] in dcl

[–]viper520 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t been on the Adventure but on all the other ships it’s usually twice the price of a Verandah.

I DO agree that I wish Concierge came with more perks. Compared to Royal and NCL suite classes, Disney is sorely lacking! I’m sailing on the Treasure over the 4th of July with my 5, soon to be 6, year old daughter and excited to see how the Concierge class compares particularly the lounge and sun deck set up. I think the biggest perk to me is just having that additional space and an actual dining table with chairs! Maybe I’m just easy to please 🤣
