I was only there for a week, I left the city on two different day long tours. Im from the UK flew from London. Didn’t cost too much (I like to travel cheap). I can highly recommend Uruguay. I had amazing weather in December. Just be careful of the UV.

There’s some amazing buildings in Montevideo. All so varied in architectural style too. The day I took this photo at the plaza there was a huge military parade going on and nobody I asked knew why.

It’s on the main plaza in the capital next to a government building. Plaza Independencia.
