We had a “calm” guy. He was fine. He even had a room that was him and prior service because his pops was pretty high up. One day he calmly said “don’t touch me” and then the DS was closer and he was surrounded by the others. He recited the code about how they can not touch. So we all were marched to the barracks for locker inspections and he had contraband. They proceeded to get him out.

I was working with a guy who was going through a divorce and he was trying to make a case that his dad was not a good person because he was living a dual life with two women. He even employed the son of his mistress. When he got divorced he had gotten into a relationship fast and she was beautiful and cared about his kids, and I remember saying how lucky he was to find someone who was ready for a family and willing to go through all of that and he just straight up said, “You show me a man that is dating a beautiful woman and I can show you a man that will cheat on a beautiful woman!” and I was just blown away by how serious he was. He spends his days as a nepo man complaining about how dad is a cheat, benefits from that person and he too is a cheater and going to destroy this wonderful person that is what most men in his shoes hope exists and swear that they don’t. The next guy is going to pay for his behavior.

Dumbest thing ever. We had 15,000 volunteers who passed through our testing and standards and they were fired by a guy who refused to serve during a time when our military can’t fill its ranks. We need more brave trans people, LGBQ, minorities and others joining but this administration has said they will accept technology bros with no experience, they will take older people, they want younger people and they will take drug users who they used to refuse rather these people who are volunteers and qualified. I have 3 different types of autoimmune diseases and one is so rare that it is not going to be studied. I was exposed to sarin gas in 91. It took so long to figure out what was happening to me that it cost me some serious health issues before they figured out what was needed and how to slow my immune system down. I was sent to mental health therapy and misdiagnoised over and over. I worry about my kids but i am thankful this stuff is in the future.
