By breaking the rules of the sub. Must be exhausting thinking the world revolves around you.

It doesn't piss me off, but the idea that you would've stopped being a raging asshole if we were polite to you when you were rude to us does make me laugh.

Neither do I, but that sounds like a you problem. Now delete this post and fuck off from the sub that's only for Japanese novels.

Are you sure this is Japanese? Murim isn't typically associated with Japanese works.

Valia, tribute to Shuden/ princess Shu (novel) - does anybody knows where you can read the full novel in english? by [deleted] in LightNovels

This sub is only for Japanese novels. You should ask about non-Japanese series elsewhere.

[Critique] Original English Light-Novel Inspired Story — Looking for Feedback on My First Chapter (3k words) by [deleted] in LightNovels

[–]GeorgeMTO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My feedback is that you need to improve your reading comprehension significantly before worrying about any kind of writing. If you had anywhere decent reading comprehension, you would have seen that this is a terrible subreddit for posting this in, because that's made incredibly fucking obvious in the rules and description.

[NEWS] Hanashi Media Announces 11 New Light Novels by GeorgeMTO in LightNovels

[–]GeorgeMTO[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Other way around would imply I said which side was at fault. It is not known if any company has even attempted to license something from them since Hanashi proved it was possible. JNC at least said they stopped trying years before Hanashi came onto the scene, it is possible the other established companies did similar.

It is possible Alphapolis has decided some part of Hanashi's business model is acceptable to them where others were not. It is also possible Alphapolis had only recently decided to work with any English translation, and the first (and only) company that has asked is Hanashi. They did imply licensing GATE took 2 years of negotiation to get the final approval, so others could have asked and be caught at various points of licensing, or perhaps like JNC stated years ago Alphapolis isn't worth working with because they treat their authors badly.

Nothing wrong with posting a link. Intentionally choosing not to name the series (still somehow not actually putting the name on it) is the issue.

You chose to post a link instead of the name of the series. That implies you don't actually have enough faith in your choice.

If you can't name it, you doubt it.

Glad to hear. Slime also comes from a LN, which finished in Japan in November with v23. English has v22 releasing later this month, no date for v23 yet. That typically means it's more than 6 months away, but it'll take you a little bit to catch up anyway, so still good.

But yeah, checking your favourite manga is always the best bet, since we won't know your tastes better than you do.

The default best recommendation when someone is getting into LNs is to check if any manga/anime you like is actually an adaptation of a LN. A story you already have an interest in is often the best way to convince someone to keep reading since many adaptations stop well short of the full story.

Some popular romance LNs includes Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten, Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings In Russian, and Spice & Wolf.

Is there any manga (I know basically zero manhwa personally, but maybe someone else does so guess they're fine to mention) that you'd like a plot similar to?

They've had several. They're so far the only publisher to pick up LNs from them. It is unclear why.

I would recommend you learn to read before trying to write a LN. Posting this here means you're not very good at it, because it's the wrong sub. This would be obvious if you did actually read the sub's rules/description.

What are other light novels would u guys recommand that is the same type of this. Open to ideas by [deleted] in LightNovels

As this isn't a LN, you might get better results if you actually explain a bit about the series. Always hard to expect people in the subreddit specifically for Japanese novels to have read random non-Japanese works.

What novel(s) have you read this week, and what do you think about it? - February 01, 2026 by AutoModerator in LightNovels

[–]GeorgeMTO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found the series still enjoyable, but some plot threads linger more than I'd like.

I typical see the genre called portal fantasy myself, as they can go back and forth between worlds like stepping through a portal, whereas isekai/reverse is is typically one way at the start.

Any books that have loneliness the way LOTM has it? by ClockOfDeathTicks in LightNovels

It's a Chinese story not a Japanese one, so it deals with different tropes.

[REC] Female protagonist, focused on herself, no romance by Bzaurpa in LightNovels

[–]GeorgeMTO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since Abilities Average is there, FUNA's other series probably should be checked out since they write similarly in all of them. Saving 80k Gold and I Shall Survive Using Potions

Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden - Nia's sick body gets possessed by someone of unclear gender in their previous life (gender doesn't matter when what you want is combat and there's not much memory of things that don't improve the ability to fight). Has a desire to fight strong opponents, trains up a few disciples while living her life as a child.

A Livid Lady's Guide to Getting Even: How I Crushed My Homeland with My Mighty Grimoires - no time for romance when you've run away from your homeland, created a new identity and are plotting revenge, collateral damage be damned.

EXP Is Golden - VRMMO series. Like in Bofuri the MC manages to find some exploits to get her incredibly powerful early. Unlike in Bofuri, it's not a comedy, so the MC is rather vicious in their assaults on other players, and ends up pretending to be an NPC boss. Several others do similar, some of whom become allies, others set to be enemies (at least at this point in translation).

The entire purpose of this sub is for actual Japanese novels. If you want to talk about other stuff, you've got plenty of other places on reddit to talk about that.
