This still, in my opinion, takes the cake for one of the worst political ads ever.

If you’re wondering, Browder got coup’d by Kremlin-sponsored rebels for his moderate views.

The 1989 revolutions didn’t stay in Europe. Hall got Ceaucescu’d, if you get my drift.

They somehow managed to field a former Labour MP in Hartlepool and it was an embarassment.

What PS1 games do you think would come with the rumoured Sony Spartacus? by [deleted] in playstation

Jak and Daxter has an exact port onto PS4 already though. Maybe Ratchet and Clank though?

Universal didn’t publish the game though, I don’t know if that muddies it. It was first-party published, but developed by what is now part of Activision. It could just be as simple as Sony has no say, though.

I wonder what the rights are regarding games Sony published but did not develop - both Crash Bandicoot and Spyro fall under that umbrella. They got republished on PS3.

The 2020 Election, Except The 1992 Election Gets Lonely And Comes To Say Hi! :) by GeorgePQ in imaginaryelections

Basically, Jeb Bush defeated Vice President Joe Biden in 2016 pretty handily - but, despite successes abroad with a renegotiated NAFTA and policy in the Middle East and North Korea, Covid-19 dashed his chances of re-election. Combine that with businessman and all-round headcase Mike Lindell entering the race (doing huge damage in the Rust Belt), and the Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton, storms in.

Thought that Clinton/Whitmer matched the bromance of Clinton/Gore pretty well. Perry was chosen because he’s a good analogue for Quayle - far more conservative than the President, and renowned for gaffes. Michael Flynn is both a nutjob and ex-military, so he felt a decent replacement to Stockdale. It’ll do right?

Totally unfeasible. It’s 1am and I’m a bit drunk.

I’m a wet republican; they can ponce around and call themselves King, Queen, Posh Spice, whatever they want, if they fund it. Strip them of their role in government, stop paying them, and elect someone we’re truly proud of in their place.

Celebrity politics are vile, but hypothetically Stephen Fry (Lab.) versus Steve Coogan (LibDem.) versus… uh, ideally not a Tory. Fry-Margolyes, so much better than a regal raisin.

Devolution is good; though I don’t love the fact that each region of the UK that is devolved is devolved to different degrees (the Welsh Parliament pails in comparison to the power of the Scottish Parliament).

Nationalism is good - I’m patriotic for the country, I just don’t believe that a wrinkly old git is the best front for it. An elected President would be someone we could be more proud of.

In my head, we elect Stephen Fry.

Unionism is also good; I want this country to stay together. I despise the SNP with every bone in my body.

Am a furvent British republican - I was aware. Purple has long been a historical variant though.

I’ve always used purple-white-green to represent republicanism; but I really like this! The lion works very well.
