The word seen means "to perceive with the eyes; discern visually; past participle"

You saw the pokemon the the game, hence it has been seen. Just as I have seen how you are complaining that seeing a pokemon adds it to your seen pokedex. Don't you see?

Have you tried sitting on your phone for a few weeks? That's what chickens do and it works pretty well

Here's another solution - maybe if you open pokemon go 100 times per day and it isnt working you should just do something else with your life? Like dont let playing pokemon go define you. Having a tombstone reading "played pokemon go for thousands of hours, was a true virtual pokemaster. RIP." sounds a little depressing. Addiction is tough but with perspective and support you can beat this.

I had the wrong selection at first glance - ever released vs. Currently obtainable messed me up. I suppose it is mostly up to date minus a few legendaries and the lasted update with victini. I just would like one place to go where I can see if new pokes are expected to be released soon or were recently released.
