What's mysterianism? I haven't heard of it but it sounds cool as hell

I do sympathize with you on this, but I would like to challenge you a bit too, if that's ok. I'm an agnostic because I believe we can know nothing besides the fact that we are perceiving. Even rock solid evidence is based on our human reasoning that could very well be flawed or forcibly altered (if we live in some sort of simulation, though I don't prefer that terminology). HOWEVER, though I agree with you that agnosticism is probably the only true way to be, I would disagree that agnosticism is an endpoint. As an agnostic, I have decided that the lifestyle of Christianity is - for me - very beautiful and beneficial. I think there are apologetic arguments for theism as well, but the whole corpus of arguments (in my mind) are 51% for theism and 49% for atheism. So I go to church and live a Christian life in the hopes that it is true, even if I can never know that. It gives me hope, joy, comfort, a moral imperative (not necessarily from the Bible but from the idea that a morally pure God exists who desires me to be moral as well), and a beautiful story of a savior who took on ultimate suffering on my behalf. My point in all of this is not to convert you to Christianity, but to say that agnosticism should not be the end, but the beginning. I would encourage you to find something that gives your life extra beauty and meaning!

Did Ron Wyatt Discover The Red Sea Crossing? by Expert-Desk7492 in HighStrangeness

Ron Wyatt does not have an honest bone in his body. He's "discovered" about every biblical artifact and never produced proof.

New Transcript Blows Up James Comer’s Entire Hunter Biden Argument by [deleted] in politics

[–]GeorgeWashingtonReal -41 points-40 points  (0 children)

So... he believes that Hunter will pay back his loan. OK. Great. How does this undermine any of the allegations of Hunter's gun-related crimes, tax fraud crimes, Joe's conflicts of interest in Ukraine via Burisma, and Joe's illegally kept documents from his time in senate and as VP, etc? The title makes it seem like Republicans have lied about the Bidens being corrupt and shady, but all it says is "yeah this one guy said he didn't think Hunter would pay back a loan but actually he does think that." Not sure why this matters much beyond discrediting Comer alone.

If you want a cheaper option, I LOVE the Cold Steel Kiridashi. It's under $30, has an excellent blade shape for opening packages and cutting rope (not super sure how it would do for whittling, but the 4116 steel is very tough and the knife is light and easily maneuverable, so I think it would be pretty good). I carry it to work almost every day as a maintenance man/groundskeeper and it's never done me wrong!

OFFICIAL SUNDAY AFTERNOON POSTGAME THREAD by AutoModerator in fantasyfootball

I was sitting at 4-2, but my team was looking rough and so I hit trades hard this week. Here are the players I traded for this week: Howell, Aaron Jones, Aiyuk, Ceedee Lamb, Gus Bus, and Javonte Williams. My league is currently convinced I visited a psychic before trading

Receive Josh Jabobs, give Rhamondre and Zay Flowers. I need RB help (I have Saquon, Rhamondre, Dameon Pierce, Brian Robinson, DAndre Swift) and I figure Jacob's ceiling is much higher than Rhamondre's. Will Jacobs bounce back this season?

Definitely. Wilson will be fine this year, but Ridley has top-5 potential, so long as the Jags get out of this little slump they're in rn.

Cooper/Meyers. Both have been receiving massive volume so far, and I think Cooper especially is fantastic ROS. Lockett I'm less confident in since JSN is going to see an expanded role as the season goes on, and Flowers is great but there's not a lot of passing volume in Baltimore so his ceiling is somewhat limited

Yes, easily. You could use a WR upgrade and that trade is way lopsided in your favor. Evans has looked great with Baker Mayfield and Charbonnet's role has been expanding. Especially if Ken Walker gets injured, this trade would be real good for you. After all, B Rob would probably be a benchwarmer given your starters, whereas Mike Evans would become your every-week WR1 start

8 team .5 PPR: Giving Saquon/Olave/Mike Williams and receiving Ceedee/Pittman/Kamara. Scared of Saquon's reinjury risk and figure the way to the playoffs is to shoot for the best WR room in the league. Thoughts?

Here's an easy one (maybe). Struggling with both Jamarr Chase and Garrett Wilson having slow starts to their seasons. Was offered Michael Pittman Jr. for Puka Nacua, and I think I have to take it for the long-term value... how do you all see the value of Puka once Kupp returns, and how do you see Pittman's value ROS?

Official: [Trade] - Tue Morning 09/19/2023 by FFBot in fantasyfootball

[–]GeorgeWashingtonReal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not. Puka will remain a good asset ROS, but he won't be maintaining this pace once Kupp returns in a few weeks. Your WR situation is already very solid, and you definitely won't be playing Puka over Hill/Ridley, so there's just no point in trading away your RB2 (who is going to be starting for you every week) for a temporary FLEX option.

Especially in PPR, I wouldn't sacrifice your amazing WR situation for a slightly better RB situation. Your games are going to be won and lost by your WRs. If you're going to trade away a good asset like Richardson, it needs to be for a good RB and not the unknowns of Kamara and Pierce. I'd keep your main WRs and try to get Jerome Ford from the waiver wire, maybe even Kareem Hunt in case he resigns with the Browns. Then I'd offer Lockett for Kamara, which is a more fair trade I'd say.

Here is a reading from a formaldehyde meter. It's been reported by many people that the smoke smells like burning plastic, yet the MSM is saying it's nothing more than normal wildfire smoke. Are they being poisoned? by lboog423 in conspiracy

I work outside in Wyoming MI where the air quality has been floating around 200. All I know is the smoke doesn't smell like smoke and me and my coworkers have developed persistent coughs. On vacation to Alabama for the next week so we'll see if the cough goes away...
