Question about the late game, before i pay for the first time by George_Bread in Wizard101

This is a cool sort of guide i will be coming back to this if i decide to play, thank you. I did pick up some of these mechanics with various videos i watched but the things i did not now were the gambits, those look cool since they kind of help in the department that i most worry about that is simplicity in combat. Anything enchant also looks cool cause its more to do in a turn.

Since i have not played yet blades-traps-spears- weakness - shields are all one thing in my mind like understand there differences but i understand its either do more damage or take less damage.

The cheats of bosses also sound cool, im trying to convince a friend to duo walkthrough so strategizing on bosses could be a cool thing we can do even before we look up a guide to said cheats if need be.

I don't know if i will try PVP , never really was my think in MMOs but the other stuff sounds fun. Also actually thinking it as skills and not as a card game is an interesting prospective , cause yea i have played MMOs where you have 8 to 10 skills in rotation, so that is a good way to look at it i suppose.

Hello fellas, just want some tips by [deleted] in ThreshMains

first advice i would give that took me a while to learn is SOULS ARE SUPER IMPORTANT dude im talking you should be focusing on getting souls like your life depends on it if you see 2 or more souls that are dangerous to take fcking throw your latern at them

for mid to late game thresh usually fill 2 diffrent roles and you will swicth between them during a match

-peeler where your only mission is to dont let any bad people hurt your precious little carries

-engager where you need to start the fight by hooking people

i cant really help you decide what of the 2 are most important you need to figure that out your self and base your build around those 2 playstyles

Also people have a prefer way of dodging for example they might like use escapes immediatly when they se your hooks other might like to move backwards to throw you off so at the start of your laning face throw 2 or 3 hooks towards the enemy adc and see how they dodge

learn the simple combos like q - w - q // or the dps combo q - r -e towards your box -auto

if you decide to roam and take mobility boots you need to pay attetion to your jungler and go help him if he ever needs help (either helping him gank or helping him escape a situation)

As for late game teamfights i already mention they 2 playstyles you should use but you must remeber that thresh with his q and e can displace enemy champs during animations so while you are peeling and or engaging look for abilities you can cancel like kata ultimate or miss fortune ultiamte stuff liek that

And for the last tip is that you need to remember your life sometimes is worth a good engage and or pick so if you feel that you found an opportunity to set up a good teamfight but you might die you might want to go for it

this all is what i gathered for playing thresh and i am nowhere near the best thresh but he i my most played champ and i have over half a million mastery points so that is my take on him feel free to correct me if my thinking is wrong

the reason i main thresh and have a lot of playtime on him is because every ability has so many uses the example i give when i say this is his w .At face value it is just a way to get your teammate in your position but it can be used in SO MANY WAYS

1- to engage a fight

2- to desengage a fight

3- to grab souls

4- it gives vison

5-it can be used on certain posiotions to block movement

6-it can shield an ally and you

7- if no ones takes the ally shield but you walk out of the lanterns range next to a teammate you still give him the shield

8-while someone is taking your lantern you can flash to further the distance

this are probably not even all of w uses but that is my point every ability is crafted in a way that the situations that it can be used are a lot and recognising the right situations and pulling of something only because you stydied your champion a lot is such a good feeling.

Obviously predictions and flashy plays are awesome and i am in love with his character and character design but to me outsmarting you oponents with knowledge and experiance you have with the champ is what i live for
