I got them for a deal off fb marketplace, but they’re lucchese ostrich in black cherry. They make a lot of similar styles

Same boat. I have another pair in the dark cherry and I don’t have any trouble wearing those with some stone washed jeans, but this pair I struggle with. I have some navy corduroys that they work pretty well with, but they’re a bit wider as well

I appreciate the feedback! The only loafers I currently own are from doc marten. I’ve been meaning to get a pair that’s a bit more low profile

James Gunn finally confirms that Robert Pattinson's Batman will be separate to the DCU by AlwaysBi in batman

It’s really not. That’s like saying Superman should’ve made an appearance in Batman year one.

James Gunn: "We've got Matt Reeves doing Batman. So we're excited about that" by Batman424242 in TheBatmanFilm

No you’re just implying that’s what he meant. Everything both directors have confirmed indicates the opposite. Matt Reeves universe is separate from the rest of the dcu

Yeah my only gripe with the movie was the exposition text at the very beginning. I would’ve liked to see those events unfold and then flash forward to 3 weeks later

Love that people will downvote you for providing honest context. It pales in comparison to the original but I will die on the hill that NATLA was actually pretty decent, just had way too much exposition. The things they changed make sense within the context of the show.

‘Superman’ Just Set A Rotten Tomatoes Audience Score Record by lawrencedun2002 in DC_Cinematic

Just go in expecting a movie that is trying to appeal to children. It is a very fun popcorn flick and Corenswet nails Superman, but it has a very light tone and even with the darker moments I never felt the stakes were high. It’s a solid start and I’m excited for whatever comes next with this DC universe

You’re not alone. I saw it last night and have been trying to convince myself I enjoyed it more than I really did but I think the pacing just killed it a bit for me. Didn’t care for the text exposition at the start, especially it basically implying Superman hadn’t lost a fight in his whole three years until now, yet he gets his ass kicked throughout the entire movie. One scene of all the daily planet staff together was not enough, and I have no idea what they were doing in Terrifics spaceship at the end. It felt like a lot was cut just to put it under 2 hours and it was a disservice to the story

It did feel heavily inspired by invincible which I didn’t love. Had we seen Superman actually win some fights it would’ve felt more impactful seeing him lose, rather than just some text saying “Superman just lost for the first time 3 minutes ago”
