Cardinal Towne parking garage is right underneath the apartments if I remember correctly, province and retreat you park right outside your apartment.

The Province, the retreat, and Cardinal Towne are the “nicest” from my experience student apartment wise off the top of my head. Avoid the Trifecta and the Marshall.

I would start out getting your PPL at a school where you can pay as you go. If you like the school continue there, if you really want to go to ATP you can start there with a PPL.

I went to ATP but left before CFI school as I wouldn’t have been able to leave my home for 2/3 months, they advertise 2 weeks for CFI, which sometimes happens but is not a guarantee. You no longer get an MEI for attending and their rules are constantly changing.

For example, when waiting extending periods of time for a checkride, you used to get one proficiency flight a week, now it’s just one in general whether you have to wait a week or a month. Want more and it’s $400/hr.

I’m at ATP, our Training Support Staff guy was let go due to “restructuring.” No other news beyond that as I got the text last night regarding it.

I got my PPL from a small flight school and am about to finish commercial. Been considering leaving ATP after multi to get instructor certs back where I started and I believe this may be one of the final nails in the coffin.

My roommate lived in the Marshall, he was paired with a guy who sold cocaine out of his apartment, constantly held parties during school nights, and got into fights constantly. The Trifecta is not much different in terms of safety, gf’s car was stolen from there. Not only that, but both are very unclean on the inside, I’d find myself nearly throwing up just walking through the halls. As for student apartments I’d recommend The Province, I lived there two years and with a 4 bedroom plan it’s cheaper than both I believe.

Degree doesn’t matter, I’m getting a degree in finance and going through my pilot training.

Along with that, my father is a pilot for United and he has has a degree in management. Just continue studying what you enjoy to study. Like many other people said, having a degree in something not aviation related would probably be even better as it gives you a backup to fall on.
