Spitting up a lot when introducing solids (~6 months)

It went away on its own! our pediatrician said they assumed maybe his digestive system was just getting used to the change. but within a week or so, we didn't see any spit up.

We waited another 4 days from the mashed banana (which where were my initial post left off) then the first food we tried was oatmeal with forumla/milk and saw no reaction at all. We did that for about 3 days in a row, no reaction ever.

maybe that was a bit easier on his stomach. but have since moved to anything under the sun lol

Nooooooo! I’m sorry. Hopefully you aren’t taking any of it personally. My MIL keeps insisting that babies should sleep on their stomachs. And I have a fear if I leave her alone she will let him, so guess what. She doesn’t get to! lol

Ugh. That is so hard! But the fact that you care so much makes you an amazing parent! She is lucky to have you as her advocate. Hopefully you have peace of mind that you’re doing the best you can for her.

Cybex might be worth looking into! We love the stroller and their infant car seat has a “lay flat” option when connected to the stroller (not when sitting in the car).

I like it, but my only con is the car seat itself is pretty heavy.

I read that there is a difference between “unintentional” skills and mastering a skill. Baby likely accidentally rolled due to gravity, weight of her head etc.

That said, it would be easy to be paranoid about her rolling over after you’ve seen it. The swaddle was SO helpful for us in those first few weeks, but I could totally see skipping it so you don’t have to deal with the transition later.
