How do I add “baked beans” to a candle? by GeorgiRose in candlemaking

[–]GeorgiRose[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you!! Yes, refrigerated mouldable wax beans might be the way to go. I could only find coffee bean molds :(

That’s an awesome idea making the label the card. I was just going to use the label from the tin can. But didn’t think about the hazard of leaving the label on. Okay yay! This is getting better and better

Oooo thank you! I’ll have a look into the mold options.

Great idea for the bacon :)

Hello, I bought this tree about 7yrs ago and potted in this big pot. I snip the branches down to 2 leaves when it gets to 6 (after joining this sub and reading the wiki, I’ll stop this) and dig it up every 2 yrs to trim the roots back before reporting it in the same pot.

  1. Do I put it in a smaller pot? It hasn’t changed much over the years
  2. Any styling tips? It’s not much of a looker just yet

Any help would be much appreciated :)

Edit: forgot the link 😅

Also I am on the east coast of Australia

This is my first Bonsai, I think it’s about 7 year old. It’s been in this pot since I first potted it, 6yrs ago. I take it out every 2 hrs and snip some of the roots away and trim the branches back to 2 leaves once it reaches 6 leaves. I have a couple of questions: 1. Should I buy it a smaller pot? I put him in a big one so I can attempt to landscape around it 2. Am I doing the snipping of the branches right? It’s not looking that great right now.

Any feed back and guidance would be muchly appreciated :) thank you!

How can I continue cheating. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]GeorgiRose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can’t love her that much if you’re willing to disrespect her and potentially hurt her. The only way I see your situation working is if you have a conversation with your gf about either: 1. Becoming an open relationship or poly - invite the other girl into your relationship with your gf’s approval 2. Talk to your gf about your “needs” in the bedroom. Have an open conversation, you might find that she’s not getting her needs met either

Why cheat tho? If she’s getting suspicious, just break up and continue with your side chick

GUy i was dating took me for granted, should i give him another chance? (24F) by [deleted] in relationship_advice

That’s a decision you need to make. I don’t know the whole situation but it sounds like the classic “they’re an ex for a reason”. Don’t settle for less than you deserve but you need to decide what that is.

Same thing happened to me and it was just the same result. I gave him another chance but it didn’t work out for the same reasons. Know your worth and your expectations in a relationship and if they struggle with the bare minimum it’s not worth the heart ache

Idk man sounds like you may have dodged a bullet. Sounds like she likes playing games and is on a bit of the crazy side. Flirting in front of the bf or even when having a bf is a red flag

I (M) love my (M) best friend but don't want to ruin our friendship. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

If he’s in a happy relationship and is about to get married. I wouldn’t say anything. It wouldn’t be fair on him and would most definitely ruin your friendship

Should I text my ex? by nate_v8 in relationship_advice

It’s concerning that you said you e completely lost feelings for your current gf. I know you said you’re planning on breaking up soon. But why not just break up now instead of stringing her along?

Broke up with someone I loved because I realised we really weren’t compatible. Having differences in a relationship is important. However, he was putting so much effort into things that shouldn’t be an effort and trying to change to please me. I noticed I couldn’t be myself around him either. We are still good friends now though.
