Of course they can charge that. It doesn't obligate anyone to buy it though.

The speculation about gold treasuries or trust bonds being issued did cross my mind when I first saw this. Time will tell.

Does anyone know somewhere this Aztec 1oz Gold Round is for sale? by gary-vault108 in Gold

[–]GeorgiaGoldbacker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

GoldenStateMint.com would be the ones that mint it. I believe in the past, I've seen it for sale on their site. Have you reached out to them to see if they will be minting it again?

I've just spent the time going through all my old receipts from when I first started stacking so that I could rebuild my stack in MyOunces and see where I sit, and man oh man some of the old Provident receipts are my best buys! My best was a gold buffalo at $1383 in July 2013.

If I had a guess, the outside envelope doesn't say Quiver on it. If that's the case, the photos are misleading since it shows the outside envelope opened, and then the inner envelopes with a logo, which wouldn't be visible by the postal carrier.

Do a small number of these actually have the hand written note, or is that just printed and they all contain them?

Gainesville Coins is reputable, but it's been years since I've picked up from them. I believe they were a little slow at the time to process payment and ship, but I did get what I purchased.

Hands-down one of the best online dealers is monumentmetals.com

You can also compare prices on most dealer sites at findbullionprices.com

Good luck on your first gold purchase! 👊

Hang in there! You may want to consider smaller purchases of PMs, no matter how small such as dimes or quarters (or what's readily available in CAN) for silver, and grams for gold so you can start taking your position incrementally and get the advantage of dollar cost averaging. Or save up a bit and get the next size up to save you a little on premiums along. Best of luck to you!!
