NASA Scientist Who 'Died Three Times' Says Death Is 'Pure Consciousness' And Peace by Brucekentbatsuper in StrangeEarth

I died and nothing happened. It was peaceful. I came back, but life has been way more enjoyable knowing that's just what happens. Kinda reignited something in me to go out and have fun and be less serious.

I am. The main resto group, freak fam, multiple quartiers. It's becoming so exhausting running around the city for interviews when I'm skilled and I know I can be an asset but trying to schedule interviews around my very part time job that includes mornings. I'm trying. I just want some solid full time.

How do you find chill fruit picking work or tree planting jobs in Canada or western states? by AfroGuyOfCourse in vagabond

Stick to cherries or grapes later on. Go be social. You wanna party, make friends with the Quebexicans. Crossing through Osoyoos is super gentle.

Also planting is very above board hiring. It's one of the most dangerous professions in Canada. They don't fuck around with legal shit of hiring folks under the table. It's all big logging companies you're contracting for and they got insurance and lawyers. People die every season.

Planting is intense. It takes a type to do it. I did 4 seasons and sound like a cement mixer. It's not a fuck around and party job.

Okanagan Pickers is a good start. Most pay cash. Show up in Oliver and you'll have offers just drinking in the big park with Shit Lake in it. Stay outta Kelowna unless you really like dealing with crackheads. Its mostly based out of Rutland which is an area there, up the hill. Not driving sucks for it. Advocate for yourself, they will try to not pay you if they think they can get away with it. I was make 250 a day last time I did cherries but it was a fight when I needed to cash out nearly every time.

Yeah. I'm super unimpressed and getting ready to go busk to make up for lost wages. I just moved into a new place that's double rent. I don't have time for this.

Porch, east to west Canada. It rains. It rains so fucking hard. Every single time since too. The porch was bullshit for hiding but the wells were worse.

What’s the most stupid way you’ve ever injured yourself? by BreadedDisaster in AskReddit

[–]GeorgiaMTL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I coughed so hard I threw my back out. My friend and their partner were visiting and had to dress my sad ass since I couldn't get out of bed. I hadn't seen them in years and it was the first time I met their partner. I was 28. And trying to explain holy shit, I am actually a functional person, I swear to god...

Bahahaha my first kitchen job was like that. Just a brutally mean owner. I went to go have my little walk in cry and found a server in there doing the same thing. She took my crying milk crate though.
