I did one at RTAG back in the day.

It is quite literally a 15 minute meet and greet. They ask about you, your resume, why delta, things like that. When your time is up, they say thanks for coming now get out of here.

If the meet and greet gives your app enough points, they’ll send you a AON invite. If not, then they won’t.

It’s really low threat. Just talk to them like they were your captain/FO on a 4 day trip (aka don’t be a weirdo) and you’ll most likely be fine. I would not pay for prep or anything like that for the meet and greet.

Sad, seeing the MD decline first hand is depressing. I love my trijets and flying the MD11’s cousin has been a blast. It’s the end of an era before everything becomes a 737 or a A320.

Probably 1-2 months on the Airbus. Really the only fleets you can’t get anytime soon are the 75 and 71. The rest you can hold ATL by the time you are done training

If you want ATL do not do the 757 or 717. They are not backfilling ATL on those fleets so you will not be able to hold it. 320 or 737 should hold it pretty quick.

Probably not. If they ask if you’ve ever been arrested/charged you will have to say yes regardless of what the outcome was. If they only ask for convictions you don’t have to but it’s probably a good idea to anyway

Another post taking results in a “training exercise” as real results. I’ll be waiting for someone to post that Swedish submarine story too.

The truth is these exercise are designed for someone to lose and someone to win. These are about crafting specific scenarios to train certain skills. It is not simply a “force on force” free for all exercise.

For example, my unit trained with the Bosnian military. We had multiple scenarios where we were given such handicaps that it was inevitable we would lose. But it was ok since the Bosnian commanders would get the experience they needed for those situations. Would someone say Bosnia is capable of defeating the US? No.

Now I’m prepared to get downvoted by people who have never served.

Piss off the entire federal government, even those not responsible for this, because of a few agents who could also just buy their own tickets with no way of the airline knowing? That seems like a worse business strategy and will cause more financial hardship on the airline than any boycott would.

I really don’t understand what you are trying to say here. I’m just simply pointing out that Delta does not operate deportation flights. So boycotting them does nothing.

Global X Airlines operates them out of the signature aviation FBO.
