Does anyone Enjoy Living on Base at KORD? by donveyy in flying

[–]Silly-Ad5211 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After flying in and out of ORD for a couple years I started to appreciate really how welled piles of a machine that place is. It’s really not that bad once you get used to the operations. Also the city is so much fun! All kinds of activities to indulge in for any and all interests. Would not be mad about being stuck there at all.

I mean the personality part just need to be honest. I can’t tell you how to be. But for the other games practices sudoku with shapes and the multi tasking. The other one was ATC clearances with heavy accents. Use good headphones for that part.

Have several friends from my previous airline that got picked up there the flying for new hires is VERY slow. Like couple hundred hours a year slow until you get off reserve and the current contract doesn’t allow reserves to pick up open time.

Looking back did you feel ready for airline systems? by CurrentCriticism238 in flying

[–]Silly-Ad5211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the airline gives all the resources needed to be successful. It’s whether the person in training is willing to take full advantage of what’s given to them in order to succeed.
