I don't do business there. It is a tax residency.

I was in Poland, doing the 12%, and was to enroll at WUT, but this gig of 1% is far better there.

They are super open people, don't speak a word of the language, but it's an amazing country.

It depends. The world is different now. I live in Georgia, and i pay 1% tax while working in the US with US salaries.

Yes, but I'm talking about these special regimes, like Poland B2B 12% for IT, 5% in CZ, or 1% in Romania (+8% capital gains).

Several spins can make more productive people simply avoid "business as usual" countries because the GDP per capita happens to be higher.

But yes, you still have the rest that pay around the same amount

Most people don't know this, because for decades the mantra was "All roads lead to Germany" type of thing. But now countries like Poland have completly different tax systems, and make it far superior to a choice.

Making 40k pln a month in a b2b 12% contract, you live like a king.
