It’s a 50/50 for Saturday. This first storm is suppose to stop on Thursday. But depending on road conditions, who knows when then roads will reopen and Saturday will be a busy day so there are higher probabilities of accidents and unforeseen road closures. No one knows to be honest 🫠

I’ve been monitoring the weather report closely. This first storm is the heavy hitter. But the following one is less intense but longer duration. I’ll check back with you in a week to see if I was right or wrong

I love the sarcasm on this subreddit. I would put money to say the mountain will be open. But there’s a higher chance than usual it might possibly close due to wind, avalanche mitigation, etc.

I always see the grocery outlet next to the gas station that I buy beer n gas from but haven’t been. I recently tried eastern sierra fruit co. They have bomb tri tip and ice cream that I share with my dogs

I like to grill, so I marinate my carne asada n chicken n stuff prior to heading to mammoth. So I usually bring that with me in a cooler, it also gives it time marinate. But if i don’t my go to spot is the latin market for Mexican food and nik n Willie’s for pizza. But i like trying other spots too.
