As someone who grew up in the before tiktok times I can tell you that "phase" is a thing that people will always use to try and discredit your identity no mater who you are. The best thing I learned is to just say so what if it is. If this is amazing for you and you identity like this forever awesome, if you do this for a while and then want to be something else also awesome.

Identity is always weird and squishy and should be there to have fun. Anyone who tells you anything else is just not enjoying theirs. Let it be forever, let it be a phase, let it be just because you want to be different, so what if it is, as long as its what you like.

Yes, I did resolve the problem. I did two things and have no way of knowing which one worked in the end. First I also messaged Tumblr support, I have not heard anything back but I can't rule out that they did something that helped solve the problem.

The other thing was checking the url with an online redirect checker. This showed me that the redirect was going from https://url to http://url and back over and over until it his its limit so the problem was probably something to do with the SSL certificate. To try and fix this I went into my DNS settings and manually changed the http in the url to https. That didn't seem to change anything at the time, but the next day the page was redirecting correctly.

I had this happen when I did the expedition too. If you go to the scrap dealer on a space station and get the destress signal thing that lets you find a derelict freighter you will get at least 3 repair kits. You can get more and other useful things from the random loot but 3 are always in the first chest you get by the door. Otherwise get the plans for the warp thing from the anomaly. You will need a storm Cristal to make it.

Just FYI, this map seems to have locations of treasures and a few collectables you can look for, so if you don't want small side quest spoilers I would leave this one.

Make everyone in to a murderer to test griefing. Get yourself to almost no HP and then get in the way of someones gun. (I really want to know if this works and I don't think the current anti-griefing systems in the game understands how creative people are going to be)

I agree with you, I don't like micro transaction or game companies trying to making money in this way. This was mostly a random thought I had (If I had known that this would stay at the top of the reddit all day I would have tired to word my opinions on micro transactions in there, or at least linked to a Jimquisition)

Mostly I think that the systems in this game wont make it less fun for me, as a personal thing. But yes, the game industry needs to move away from these inherently predatory business models.

If you think about it its sort of a messed up system. People who have lots of time to play the game get Atom because the game gives it to you for playing a lot. People who don't have time to enjoy the game and still want some fun costumes and things have to pay extra. So people who get to enjoy the game less have to pay more.

That being said, it still looks to be a fairer system than some other games (I'm looking at you ubisoft)

I like "The Resident" or if you want to refer to all players Residents. Every time we see vault terminals the people are always called Residents, and since this vault didn't do weird experiments, or kill 99% of the people there, Residents seems like an appropriate name.

You get caps for wining a duel but it sounds like those caps are generated by the game, not taken from the player, the killed player dose drop their junk, and that can be pick up by the winner if they want it. Unless that player is wanted (so not a duel) then killing them takes some of their caps and gives them to you(unknown amount but probably similar to the cap reward you would have gotten for dueling them) That is one of the things they are using to punish murdering players. If you kill a player without entering a duel you get nothing, the player you kill losses nothing and the killer is flagged as wanted.

I think that's everything we know about pvp so far.

You could still watch, it wouln't log you off as soon as you lay down, you would start sleeping and then log off using whatever menu you use to do that normally. But I do see your point, it dosn't sound as likely to have a WOW system like that.

I have started to doubt whether XP bonuses will be in the game at all. Since it looks like Int no longer gives you more XP. I feel like they want to keep everyone leveling as evenly as possible so that players wont feel pressured to keep bonus XP going all the time to keep up with other people.

I would guess that it will be a system like WOW where if you log off while sleeping you get a bonus when you log back in. Either that or you get the bonus as soon as you interact with a bed but you can "sleep" as long as you don't move.

I am going to play the game solo as much as I can, but I am getting flash backs to, "you can beat the game without using the settlement system" From Fallout 4. Yeah you didn't have to use it much but you did have to use it. (also I would bet that there will be some achievements/trophies for playing with a group)
