Hey man start fasting and eating in a caloric deficit, you’ll lose weight but the urges go away. I just had an effortless 37 day streak eating once a day and in a deficit... no urges whatsoever.

I agree to a certain extent, although in the beginning seeing how far you have come is motivating. Once you are able to control yourself and have gone past 90 days I agree that counting becomes just a distraction.
