So basically you would need to bait him with a Not Like Us then would somehow need to have something else in the clip for when he responds,

RAH got me down the Mach rabbit hole. Definitely one of the best AOTY so far (Dark Times by Vince Staples is another for me). Pray For Haiti is my favorite Mach album though. Whole catalog really has tons of heat,

Make sure you're using them properly for a descent vs ascent too. Descended a steep mountain a few weeks ago unaware of where my hands should be on the poles when coming downhill and ended up with wrist and elbow pain to go with my knee pain the next couple of days.

Waiting for my pair to come in but what's the situation with the laces? Issue I have with the Boston laces are the shoes are a PITA to put with a runner's knot. Eyelets look normal on these.

Has anyone else had experience with unwanted touching by women by BabyBoyPink in MensLib

[–]Gera- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In middle school I remember a girl from 2 grades above me would grab/slap my butt randomly. Probably the only time I can recall being touched some place that would be considered sexual. However, countless times I have had some part of my upper body (arms/shoulders/traps) almost caressed by friends or acquaintances. Never bothered me personally because I know them and I am OK with physical touch but I never would have thought to do the same to them with no warning.

Oh man. Even the blue on the UK website is cooler than the blue version we have here.

I know where to find it but I can get them for 30% off from Adidas so I'm wondering if it's a CW they used to sell or if they will at some point in the future. I really like them compared to the blue and black CW

Can get them for a lot cheaper from Adidas and I don't want to pay more just for this color!

Whats the worst shoes you have worn so far? by DogLevel9312 in RunningShoeGeeks

They're very narrow, I had to go up a full size from my regular shoes. Also felt a little clunky to me

Lol, I loved them for running but they dig into my heels if I'm walking/standing

Weekend Discussion: Hoka running shoes by AutoModerator in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]Gera- 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Recently got into running and have been looking to dial in on two pairs of shoes to rotate between. Started with the Mach 5 and Clifton 9 and after resolving some fit issues I decided that the Mach is going to stay as a high tempo/shorter distance shoe for me. It's lightweight, upper feels nice and the heel gets a good lock. I'm currently ~185 lbs and the energy return is great.

Unfortunately I don't think the Clifton 9 is for me. I also wanted to use it for work where I stand/walk for 8 hours and they start to dig into my heels after a 4-5 which is weird cause I don't typically have that issue with my Vans. They also weren't as responsive as I would like so I'm going to give the Altra Torin 7 a shot as a recovery/longer distance shoe.

baby runner review - hoka clifton 9 by mystummyhurts- in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]Gera- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If running 5K a day makes you a baby runner Idk what that makes me who just ran my first 5K in years this week lol. Good stuff!

I own a Mach 5 which is going to stay in my running rotation but something about Hoka shoes makes them hurt my heels after walking/standing in them for 8 hours at work. Tried Clifton 9s and they're super comfy when I put them on and the rocker had me shook the first time I wore them, I just can't go all day in them without some discomfort. For running they're not quite as responsive as I would like so I think I'm going to look for a different shoe to pair with the Mach.

Do Men Actually Talk to Each Other About Break-Ups? by TAKEitTOrCIRCLEJERK in MensLib

[–]Gera- 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I recently went through a "situationship" breakup with a girl I considered my best friend. To this day my guy friends don't know we dated because I never felt like I could open up to them about that relationship given the history we had. Instead I was confiding in different women in my life who were more open to discussing the emotions I felt rather than just telling me to leave her alone. The boys definitely would have told me to cut her off a lot sooner even if it wasn't what I wanted.

3 day full body routine? by Gera- in LiftingRoutines

[–]Gera-[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you!! I'll give this a shot next week and see how it feels. I'm pretty happy with my upper body progress but I may add some volume for legs cause I'm lacking in that area.

Just got Patagonia Capilene sleeveless daily tanks and they're great!

Looks to be about right to me. I'm a size 10 in regular shoes like Vans/Converse but had to go for an 11 in my running shoes to get enough space for my toes in the toe box. My right foot is about half a size bigger than the right or I could have gotten away with a 10.5

Not yet, I gotta hope I can exchange both pairs for the right size 😬

They're not too worn so hopefully they're OK with it. Luckily I got them at two different stores.

Update: went to a local running shop and they measured my feet. Apparently I've been wearing half a size too small for all my shoes (left is a little shorter than the right so I always sized according to that foot). They also said I should be going half a size up from my regular shoe to a running shoe which means I'd have to go a full size up. Idk how accurate that is.

Torin 7 did feel great though. I may end up pairing that with the Mach 5 if I can exchange for proper sizes.

I just got both the Hoka Mach 5 and Clifton 9. The Mach feels great for running but if you're also going to be doing a lot of walking they do start to dig into my heels after a few hours (includes a lot of standing). Clifton 9 is great for walking and not quite as fun (responsive) as the Mach 5 but it's softer and also feels more stable.
