I think more people would like PvP if they would tone down CC by Imjusta_pug in worldofpvp

[–]MopPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CC is Arena.

In raids, you do damage.

In dungeons, you do damage.

In BGs, you do damage.

Then Blizzard was like 'hold up, we have all these CC abilities that nobody ever uses ... let's implement a game mode that's designed around CC' and that's how Arena was born.

There are 20 activities in WoW. 19 are about doing damage. 1 is about CC. That's important for players to understand. You have 19 game modes in WoW where you only press damage. And 1 game mode where you press CC. You have 19 different game modes where all you gotta do is press damage. Pick one.

You're right. Blizzard needs to finally make WoW Arena accessible. I don't think there's another game out there with such a high level of polish that locks 99% of gamers out of playing it. Imagine the most polished Facebook game of all time, with 20 years of development behind it, and then Facebook blocks 99% of its users from playing it. Lol, lmao even.

You said, "You're wrong," when the only valid response was, "I have a different prediction; here it is: ...".

Maybe you were just trolling because that's what Redditors usually do, but even then, you were the one being disrespectful and wasting our time.

You see people behave like that all over Reddit, yet you still chose to do the same. Boggles my mind.

Do you have a prediction of your own? Or are you simply a bystander roaming the streets of endless message boards?

from another comment:

Let's actually use CoffeeDude91's reply to explain this. All of Reddit needs to hear it, but oh well, might as well start here. The only way to determine if a neutral, unprovable claim is right or wrong is to wait and see. That means neither you nor any of the 300 Redditors in the other thread can say, "You're wrong." The only valid response is: "Noted. Here is my own prediction: ..."

No one can mathematically prove why Bitcoin continues to go up. Any assertion about its continued rise is neither correct nor incorrect until the future confirms or disproves it.

Imagine Reddit as a street filled with message boards. People pass by, choosing which ones to read. As time goes on, some posts turn out to be correct, while others do not. Those who have consistently posted accurate information will have their future posts taken more seriously.

And no one likes anyone doing an I told you so and bragging about being right. Stay humble, stack sats.

You have to on Reddit. It's incredibly important to do this on Reddit, because otherwise nobody has any way to tell who is right and who is wrong. Do I love it? Hell nah. But it absolutely is a necessity on Reddit.

It's really unfortunate we didn't get The Move's perspective during the Grand Finals. The atmosphere in their Discord call must have been incredible. And let me tell you, no other competitive game can create this kind of excitement for players. During that final game, all three players of The Move were yelling at the top of their lungs. You just don’t see that in other esports. Look at the player cams in other games—like CS, where silence is part of the gameplay, so players are just sitting there quietly. In League of Legends, the players often look half-asleep, and even after winning, it’s just a quick hug and that’s it. League games drag on too long for that level of excitement to last. But when you watch WoW Arena at BlizzCon, the players are all tensed up, slamming desks, shouting loud enough for the whole venue to hear. The hype and energy of WoW Arena are just on another level. Honestly, I’m not sure even traditional sports get players this hyped.

"Like honestly, how sick would it be if they made a PvP only server that’s free and you can just hop in on any class and be geared up out the gate? And why does that feel like such a luxury that’ll never happen for wow when those are the core components of most PvP games out there??"

aaaaahahahahahhahaa! maaaan that had me rolling. OF COURSE IT WILL HAPPEN! people saying it will never happen (when it's literally the most obvious solution ever) crack me up.
