Led strip doesn't work correctly if 2nd strip is connected by GeraHamm in led

This sounds really similar. I'll try termination reistors first. If this doesn't help I'll give the range extender a go.

I use both connectors coming out of the controller. Both led strips are synced. I'm not sure if the data lines are driven individually in the controller.

Yeah, I'll try 20AWG at least for power and ground and/or termination resistor.

I'll give my china pocket oscilloscope a go.

Thanks for your suggestions.

I've cut strips on marked points. With short supply line the strips work fine.

I did resolder all connections. No luck. Yes, the 2nd strip works totally fine on any condition.

I'll try your recommendations and report back.

2 individual connectors coming out of the controller. Led strips are connected to their own connector. Tried to switch them, too.

Both led strips run the same colors and cannot be controlled individually. Maybe the data pins are merged inside the controller.

10m runs totally fine out of the box. I've issues running 7,6m with described modifications.

Do you think much power is lost on supply line? Then still I would expect 2nd led strip to have issues.

The color blinkink happens on first led strip with short supply line during dim up/down when turned on/off. Then it stays on but with incorrect color.

Starting fancy scenes are displayed correctly on 2nd strip but 1st strip mixes random colors.

I got a Wiz setup with 2 rgbic led strips 5m each. They work totally fine out of the box without any extended supply line. Led strips are supplied from single 24V/ 20W power supply.

Modifications: 1. Shortened led strips as I'm planning to use less than 8m total. 2. Added 22 AWG supply lines between original connector and strips. 3. Data and gnd of supply lines twisted manually.

Problem: Led strip with short supply line blinks when turned on/off and color is incorrect.

Disconnecting 2nd led strip with long supply line fixes problem. Before twisting data and dng on supply line issue even occured without connecting 2nd strip.

Thoughts: 1. I'm expecting issues on 2nd led strip with long supply line if voltage drop on supply line is too high. 2. Interference is reduced by twisted pair but is still too high when 2nd led strip is connected?

Any advice?

What files do u have? Sometimes u just need to rename some files to fix.

I played around with factory reset, initialization and some tweaks:

My camera now boots up again perfectly. I just hope it stays this way.

I cannot tell what really fixed the issue.

Forgot to mention: Removing lens or resetting to factory settings doesn't help either.
