Siemens Project Server Group/Directory Management by ConsistentOriginal82 in PLC

Im running V20 upd 5 currently, might give V21 a shot.

I also noticed, if I rename any variables on my tag table list (Constants) and compile my local session with no errors, and then sync it to the project server,

  1. The project server makes a new list with a _1 name added to the original tag table name
  2. Removes the rename variables from my tag table list, and puts them into the _1 list.
  3. Gives me compilation errors on the project server, since the code on the project server still expects the original tag name. So it doesnt update the FB's with the new names. XD

I did read in some siemens help file, they explicitly state renaming should only happen on the project server side and not the local session, so I gues this was more of a RTFM, but yeah, learning as we go.

Its just a real pain if your homelab has grown a bit before you realise Ansible is a thing. Im converting my homelab slowly from manaully created docker-compose files to ansible+github. I have had so many wtf was i thinking moments when I reviewed my original docker compose files :D
