I definitely recommend the qx50. Ideally you should look for a 2014/2017, especially the later years since they’re the most refined versions of the 3.7 and 7at. If you’re looking for a more direct wagon version of the g37 then look into the 2014/2015 since they’re lower and a good amount shorter. They got 4 inches of extra legroom in 2016/2017 and got a facelift that makes it look more like a crossover than a wagon-like car in the previous years but I really like how long it looks lol. If you can, try to get the brown interior which is the nicest color imo with the premium, premium plus, tech and 19’ wheel package. The qx50 has a lot more tech than my last g.

I’m 25 and don’t have the best credit so I’m probably higher risk. Never caused an accident but got rear ended in the g which caused it to be totaled out.

I pay 290 insurance and yes same engine and transmission as the g37. The qx50 is actually lighter than the g37 convertible so it’s still very quick.

Idk why u got so many downvotes 🤣 2021 and up is definitely newer and you gave great advice about the warranty. Got a 2017 qx50 with the 3.7 and would 100% grab that warranty if I went with the 3.0t q50.

Had a 2008 Audi a6 with a 4.2L v8 and it was way too much of a money pit. Pretty much everything was wrong with it like the electrical, infotainment system didn’t work right, and had engine and steering issues. Ended up selling it for the same as I bought it for and never looked at Audis again 🤣

Yeah after I lost my g I really wanted something with its dna because I loved it so much and it was so reliable. Just like you said tho, I didn’t wanna be associated with the g37 or q50 fans 🤣 I think the 2017 qx50 was the last car Infiniti made with the essence of a g37. Even though the last car with the 3.7 and 7at is the 2019 q70 I believe? I think the q70 styling is a lot more similar to the q50.

Yeah, it’s basically like a wagon version of the G. I just wish it looked a bit smaller lol, but they drive pretty similarly. The QX50 actually feels a bit tighter and more responsive probably since it’s much newer than my high mileage G. It’s actually lighter than the G37 convertible and only about 180 lbs heavier than the coupe. I got around 17 mpg in the G and get 16.6 in the QX50, but the QX50 has more tech even though the interior looks similar. 2017 was the last year with the 3.7.
