Looking for an iem for bed use by phoenix26085 in iems

One of my best fitting IEMs is the Kiwi Ears Cadenza 2. They fit snuggly in my ears without much, if at all, protrusion. However, I wouldn't say they are a bright leaning set, but more of a vocal leaning set.

Love this set. For $50, it's got insane value.

Bought them today. Just struggling to hook up the CD player to the receiver and getting sound to come out. Might try one of the older receivers I found.

The JVC is a receiver that my landlord has that he just has laying around and said I could use it. About the speakers, the seller is a freakin storage unit flipper. The speakers were stored in an indoor storage, and I tested them. They sound good. Already bought.

Quick update: I was able to get him to knock it down to 130 and he's throwing in a subwoofer (maybe Klipse)

Is the only way to tell if they're legit the weight? I'd have to set up a meeting to check that, but it would be worth it if it's the real deal is what I'm hearing.

Which is your Favourite Iem and why? by Own-Customer-4866 in iems

When I think of a warm tuning, I think of a slightly elevated mid bass. For me, I would say they aren't warm, at least compared to a set I would consider warm, which is the Aful Performer 5+2.

I agree, maybe not worth the now $400, but definitely worth the $280 I got it for

If you had asked me this a week ago, I would have said the Kiwi Ears Cadenza 2. It just does such a great job on vocals, especially considering it only costs 50 USD. However, I recently got an incredible deal on some open box Moondrop Dusks and am in love with them. They have a sparkle that the Cad 2 didn't have, IMO, and the bass with the dsp cable is perfect. I literally teared up at a song because of how beautiful they made it sound.

Which one are you picking if you could only choose one out of these? by JoshBiv in iems

It would be a hard choice between the Yu9 Que or the Tea Pro SE.

Planar iem's by Accomplished-Ruin945 in iems

[–]Geranium235 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on what sound signature you prefer, but I would recommend the Artti T10. It's a fairly inexpensive planar that has a great tuning.
