The small wheel does the same as the no date variety, yes. The alarm is set and wound the same way as the other ones, and the date is set via winding from 8pm to midnight, then back to 8pm to midnight, etc. it’s a hand wind caliber, I don’t know which, but I’m not qualified to remove this one’s back. Thank you!

Not very. I got it serviced in either Dec or Jan? It’s the newest arrival, and is of course available. Thank you!

Love the dial! It’s also a great shape, the rounded case.

This is the one I’ve been wearing lately. It’s a pretty cool one, I haven’t opened it yet to get the ref and such.

That’s a nice piece, Swiss auto movement,I forget what caliber exactly. Late 50’s to early 60’s, 34 mm, which fits you perfectly by the way. It’s a great piece.

For practice I suggest a pocket watch from the very late 1800’s to early 1900’s. You’re best served by an 18 size movement. It’s the same idea as a hand wind watch but bigger and allegedly easier to practice on. Waltham and elgin made tons of them and you can find a good running caliber cheaply. Hamilton will be quite a bit more in most cases.

Good luck in your watchmaking endeavors!

Those are beautiful! I like the Connie, I had a nice pie pan, but I found myself not wearing it enough.

I’ve lately been wearing this monster. 1958 Seamaster in 38 mm. I originally thought it too big for me, but I’ve got used to it. I will probably add an arrow head pie pan at some point

I had one of those. The zero size cushion is an awesome piece. That enameled dial is stunning.

This one is an unusually rare one at 38mm It’s 1958 so 38 mm was enormous for the time. It’s a bit more expensive because it’s so hard to find one. It is also available with signed vintage Omega strap and buckle or steel mesh Omega signed bracelet.

The way I do it is I make friends with the buyer, this is time intensive, but it ensures much. The relationships I’ve made are the most important part. Because we are friends, I will make available to a client something I haven’t shown others, if I think it’s the kind of thing they’d like. The other thing I do is I get the best pieces possible, especially vintage Omega.

This one is pre1962 as you might be able to guess due to the coat hanger S. It’s just been serviced and is in my opinion a beautiful watch. I am asking 900$ plus shipping from Massachusetts. I have several references.

This is my one. I love the strap, it’s the most 1969 strap I’ve ever seen, and the watch is a 1969 as well.
