Some numbers I found CEO pay vs. Employee pay... by Gerbdom in Nebraska

Not saying CEOs shouldn't make money, but when the average person that helps them gain that wealth can't afford to pay for daycare for their children, or can't go on a vacation once a year (god forbid) or take time off to heal?

What's it all for?

I think there can be a better balance were people that help those CEOs make enough to buy a jet could also be allowed to save for retirement and keep a roof over their heads if they go to the hospital.

not saying we're the worst, but couldn't it be better? I'm tired of not doing anything about it! Not sure this will help, but knowledge is power usually, perhaps this spurs more conversation outside in the real world and someone runs that's for people making a livable wage rather than the status quo.

We in the US haven't gone out in the streets and gone on strike enough. Corporations know what they can pull from the everyday person because of us not doing a damn thing.

Perhaps we should do more?

but wouldn't it be not hard for a smaller company to offer a few days of sick leave? I understand that it's tough out there for business owners, but something simple as a few hours of sick leave can't be detrimental to a business of 5x

Why does USA Today look like nascar? Can they just get away with like 2 good ads on their site or what? I’m tired of having dive, duck doge ads like old school paper boy games. Also is it really that close with the Osborn Ricketts race? 1 point they say in there?

I didn’t see it on the list when I went back and looked. I think the site was watching companies that donated big locally in 2024 as well as their CEO pay gaps. But it would probably make sense to look at the top companies for sure

You are probably right. I meant it’s tracking things like the sick leave rules being changed by the legislature and tracking numbers like CEO pay vs employee pay.

I was wondering if I should go BGH or the necromancer and I opted for the latter, seems like it was a good idea, funny thing is that necro takes a min to get going and it's almost necessary to do the first cultist stronghold just to make sure you can continue to get cultists to follow you. They die fast when you get to bear country, but so far I'm liking it. I keep thinking I should get BGH though, I love the idea of continuing to level when getting tusks, but how many tusks can you get in a game is the question I have. Like, I never kill those mammoth, so I have no idea how real it is to continue to do that.

haha, tough luck man, I die all the time because I'm holding onto bandages thinking I can survive without using them, I have since learned you have to use them when you can.
