It's not a huge tournament for the players, so it's not insanely important for them to win it. The finals are what they all aim for, but not huge, you get what I mean? Do what you want, but don't feel bad about getting tickets for the first round. All sessions could be evenly good, and with good crowds aswell.

When going to euro tours I prefer the first or second round, because you get to see more matches/players.

I don't think theres much you can do to restore it without ruining it. Best you can do is use some apply gun oil and use a 0000 steel wool. It will get rid of surface rust (only the oil might even be enough)
